Delete your Safara account
You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Safara and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm.
It happens straight away.
By email
If you cannot sign in, email support@safara.dev from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We will verify it is you and delete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Your profile — username, display name and photo
- Trips you own, including their places, day plans and notes
- Your travel details and every sharing setting attached to them
- Your membership of trips other people own, and any pending invitations
This cannot be undone. Deleting your account is permanent, and a trip you own is deleted for everyone you shared it with. If someone else still needs a trip you own, make them the owner before you delete, or ask them to copy what they need.
What is kept
Nothing that identifies you. We keep no backup copy of your trips after deletion. Records we are legally required to retain, if any ever arise, would be kept only for as long as the law requires.
