Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Safara. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
Using Safara
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself. Tell us at support@safara.dev if you think someone else has got into it.
Your content
Your trips, notes and travel details are yours. You keep ownership of them. You give us permission to store and display them only so far as is needed to run the app for you and to show them to people you have invited to a trip.
You are responsible for what you put in and who you share it with. Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
Shared trips
Inviting someone to a trip lets them see that trip. Inviting them as an editor lets them change it, including deleting things. Invite people you trust, and remove access when you no longer want them to have it.
What Safara is and is not
Safara does not book anything and is not a travel agency. We do not sell flights, hotels or tickets, we take no payment for travel, and we are not a party to any booking you make elsewhere.
Place information — opening hours, ratings, descriptions, photos — comes from Google and from automatically generated summaries. It can be out of date or wrong. Check anything that matters directly with the business or airline.
Flight details you scan or type are stored as you entered them. We do not track live flight status; the flight status card shown on iOS comes from Apple, not from us. Always confirm times with your airline.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break into other people's accounts, get around the app's limits, scrape or bulk-extract data, resell access, or use the app to break the law.
Availability
We try to keep Safara running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or stop features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export or record your trips.
Cost
Safara is currently free. If we introduce paid features in future, we will say so clearly beforehand and nothing you already have will start costing money without your agreement.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
Liability
Safara is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for missed flights, lost bookings, closed venues, incorrect place information, lost data, or other indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Safara after a change means you accept it.
